Jan Afford Limited (until November 2009 known as Afford Decorative Arts) was first established by Jan Afford in the late 1980's.
For over ten years I had a shop in Camden Passage, Central London.
I now trade by appointment from our home in North Warwickshire.
I have periodically exhibited at Olympia in London - one of the worlds’ foremost International Fine Arts and Antiques Fairs.
I have sourced numerous major René Lalique Artworks for private collectors around the world.
I offer a wealth of expertise regarding rarity, authenticity, condition and value.
My customer base is highly diverse and I operate at all levels of the quality end of the market. It includes discerning individuals sometimes with limited knowledge of art and antiques, who wish to make a "one-off purchase" with complete reassurance, perhaps for investment or to mark a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary or retirement.
Naturally, it also includes Serious Collectors at all levels, International Dealers, Interior Designers/Decorators, Museums, and increasingly, Corporate and Investment Business.
I handle all aspects of each transaction myself. You can be assured of a prompt, efficient service and of course, the very best professional advice and expertise.
